Triangle Parent Navigator Services
Frequently, I hear from parents that everyone is talking in “code.” I am fluent in this coded school language and I act as an interpreter for families. Outside of interpretation, I help families navigate the maze of securing support for their child by:
Facilitating collaborative, working relationships between schools/helping professionals and parents.
Providing knowledgeable and data-based support for parents focused on getting the appropriate interventions in place — specifically designed for their child during IEP, Tier Interventions, and Section 504 meetings.
Assisting in researching and support in making school choice decisions.
Helping in identifying and developing action plans that are clear, manageable, actionable and understood for their clarity of purpose and focused solely on the unique needs of your child.
I meet families “where they are” and help them move forward in the most productive ways possible.
