FOR PROFESSIONALS

Create a community of support for all Triangle families.

Why should I work with Triangle Parent Navigator?

What I hear from clinicians is a desire to help parents find resources, prepare/attend IEP meetings and to teach them how to advocate for their child. The sheer pressure of time against their schedule and the lack of expertise in this area does not allow this to happen in a quality way.

Triangle Parent Navigator works collaboratively in a team-based approach with professionals and schools to identify the best plan of action for each child.

I assist in connecting families to quality professionals, and accessing the appropriate evaluations, therapeutic resources and establishment of sensible priorities. Together, we can create a community of support for all Triangle families.

What does Triangle Parent Navigator offer?

I am able to help parents step back from the flood of emotions, identify quality resources, and to step-by-step teach them how to be their child's best advocate. I will help them build the tools, confidence and supportive environment so they are able to do what they need to do to help their child.

I would welcome the opportunity to meet to discuss my service, how it would complement your role, and how it might help free up some much needed time for you to do what you do best.

I am able to supply references from other professionals, clients that have used my service or people that have worked with me in other capacities who could speak to my work ethic, strength of moral character and my sheer desire to do what is right to help families help their child.

Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or to work collaboratively with a family.

A Professional’s Point-of-View

“I thought you should know that your assistance at the meeting today was invaluable. I wish you could help all parents navigate this process! The way you handled the process, the communication between team members, etc. made the meeting flow seamlessly. The parents appeared comfortable and confident with the plan, instead of confused and passive attendants. Nice work!”
